James McColgan – Owner & Lead Landscaper

James has been mowing lawns and shaping landscapes since before he could even drive. With a deep-rooted passion for the outdoors, he turned his lifelong love for plants into a thriving business. As the owner of Two Brothers Landscape, he brings years of hands-on experience and a commitment to creating vibrant, healthy outdoor spaces.

Currently in week four of his Master Gardener certification through the Tennessee Extension Office, James continues to expand his expertise in plant health, placement, and sustainability. His knowledge ensures that every plant has the best possible start and thrives in its environment.

For James, landscaping isn’t just work—it’s a way of life. He finds joy in watching plants grow, flourish, and transform spaces. Whether it’s designing landscapes, maintaining lawns, or giving expert planting advice, he and his team always go the extra mile to deliver quality and care.

Alan Faulkner

Employee spotlight for Alan Faulkner - Operations Director

Alan Faulkner brings 5 years of experience to his role as Operations Director at Two Brothers Landscape LLC. Growing up as a third-generation tree farmer, Alan developed a passion for nature and expanded his expertise into regenerative agriculture. His specialties include gardening, plant installation and design, as well as skid steer operation. Alan is also highly skilled in tree identification, land, and pond management.

With a strong work philosophy, Alan ensures that each client’s needs are treated uniquely and with care. What he loves most about his work is being outdoors, getting exercise, and enjoying the variety that each new project offers. Quoting Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax, he says, “I speak for the trees,” a sentiment that reflects his deep connection to the environment.

In his free time, Alan enjoys fly fishing, disc golf, gardening, and other outdoor activities. Fun fact: He’s an Eagle Scout, which shows his long-standing commitment to the great outdoors.

David Thompson

Employee Spotlight for David Thompson - Team Lead

David Thompson has been in the lawn care and landscaping industry for over a decade, serving as Team Lead at Two Brothers Landscape LLC. His areas of expertise include lawn maintenance, groundskeeping, small engine repair, and team management. David’s journey started young—mowing lawns as a kid—and his love for it turned into a lifelong career.

With skills in hauling heavy equipment and mechanical work, David ensures that every project is handled with precision. His philosophy centers on treating each property as if it were his own and maintaining open communication with clients to find the best long-term solutions.

Outside of landscaping, David enjoys grilling, fishing, camping, and playing corn hole. He’s also an RC car enthusiast, a quirky hobby that fuels his love for hands-on activities.
